Dense Fog Advisory

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 2 am MST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 2 am MST Tuesday for the lower
Treasure valley of Idaho and Oregon.

Patchy dense fog across the Treasure valley as of 430 PM will
become widespread from Ontario Oregon through Caldwell Idaho this
evening... including Interstate 84 from west of Idaho mile Post 44
through Oregon mile Post 372. Dense fog is also expected this
evening from Weiser and Midvale south to Homedale including on
Highway 95. Parts of old Highway 30 as well as 20 and 26 will be
affected by dense fog. Areas surrounding the lower Treasure valley
including Boise Idaho may also see fog with visibilities to one-
quarter of a mile a times but widespread dense fog is expected to
be limited to the lower Treasure valley.

A fast moving Pacific weather system will bring more wind and
mixing to the Treasure valley between midnight and 3 am tonight
therefore visibilities are expected to improve to 1 to 2 miles
early Tuesday morning... even before sunrise.

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
