Winter Weather Advisory

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EST /6 PM
CST/ this evening...

A band of light to moderate lake effect snow will continue to
affect locations mainly along and west of a Three Oaks Michigan to
Crumstown Indiana line into this afternoon. The heavier snow
showers may drop visibilities to one quarter mile or less for
brief periods of time. While accumulations will vary
greatly... amounts in the 3 to 5 inch range remain a good
possibility where the band persists. In addition... gusty northwest
winds of 15 to 25 mph will cause blowing and drifting snow of any
new snowfall and add to the hazardous Road conditions.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas.
