Lake Wind Advisory

... Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 7 am this morning to
7 PM EST this evening...

Southwest winds will quickly increase to 15 to 25 knots with
gusts to 35 knots this morning on area lakes and continue through
this evening. Winds will subside to 15 knots with gusts to 25
knots around sunset and further subside to 10 to 15 knots by 7 PM.
Boaters are urged to use extra caution on area lakes today.

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats and personal watercraft will be
especially prone to capsizing.
