Fire Weather Watch

... Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Tuesday afternoon
through Tuesday evening...

A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Tuesday afternoon
through Tuesday evening.

The combination of relative humidity values dropping to between 10
and 15 percent... warm dry air... and 20 ft winds gusting up to 40
mph in the mountains will result in critical fire weather conditions
Tuesday afternoon and evening. Humidity will be slow to increase
during the early evening hours Tuesday but winds will decrease quickly
across the plains. Winds are forecast to increase in the mountains
overnight and the Fire Weather Watch may eventually be extended in
time there.

Do not throw cigarettes onto the ground or out of a moving
vehicle. Keep vehicles on driving surfaces... and do not drive
through tall grass. Avoid activities that may produce outdoor
flames or Sparks. Accidental ignitions will have the potential to
grow into dangerous ... wind-driven wildfires.
